Động lực tăng trưởng năng suất lao động: Bằng chứng so sánh giữa các nước phát triển và nước đang phát triển

Nghiên cứu chỉ ra sự khác biệt có hệ thống trong động lực tăng trưởng năng suất lao động giữa các nước phát triển và nước đang phát triển. Kết quả hồi quy số liệu mảng cho 75 nước giai đoạn 2000-2019 cho thấy: các nước đang phát triển có nhiều cơ hội để tăng trưởng năng suất với vai trò tích cực của tiến bộ công nghệ, tích lũy vốn, chuyển dịch cơ cấu lao động, vốn con người và cải thiện thể chế. Các nước phát triển thu được lợi ích lớn hơn từ tiến bộ công nghệ. Tích lũy vốn và cải thiện thể chế ủng hộ tự do kinh tế có tác động lớn hơn ở các nước đang phát triển. Sự khác biệt về vai trò của chuyển dịch cơ cấu và vốn con người với hai nhóm nước là chưa rõ. Kết quả hàm ý mỗi nhóm nước cần ưu tiên các chính sách trọng tâm phù hợp với từng giai đoạn phát triển.
