Tác động của kiều hối đến tăng trưởng kinh tế Việt Nam: Xem xét vai trò của phát triển tài chính

Nghiên cứu nhằm đánh giá tác động của kiều hối đến tăng trưởng kinh tế Việt Nam, với trọng tâm là vai trò điều tiết của phát triển tài chính. Dữ liệu giai đoạn 2000–2021 được phân tích bằng mô hình VECM. Kết quả cho thấy, trong ngắn hạn, phát triển tài chính (FD) thúc đẩy tăng trưởng kinh tế, trong khi kiều hối (REMIT) và tương tác giữa kiều hối với phát triển tài chính (REMIT_FD) không có ảnh hưởng rõ rệt. Tuy nhiên, trong dài hạn, FD tiếp tục hỗ trợ tăng trưởng, còn REMIT và REMIT_FD lại tác động tiêu cực. Điều này cho thấy, khi hệ thống tài chính phát triển hơn, kiều hối có xu hướng được sử dụng cho tiêu dùng thay vì đầu tư sản xuất. Để tối ưu hóa dòng vốn này, Việt Nam cần thiết lập một khung chính sách toàn diện nhằm chuyển hướng kiều hối qua các kênh tài chính chính thức và thúc đẩy sử dụng vào các lĩnh vực sinh lợi. Việc này đòi hỏi sự phối hợp giữa nhà nước, các tổ chức tài chính và cộng đồng kiều bào, qua đó bảo đảm sự cân bằng giữa phát triển kinh tế vĩ mô và lợi ích của các hộ gia đình nhận kiều hối.
